Staying on the Job Story

Story

"We are looking for someone to build a future with our organization." Those words were burning in my ears as I left the building. I saw my reflection in the window - I never felt so old. There I stood staring at my face as if the wrinkled lines were an etched pencil drawing: they didn't care about my experience, they thought I was too old. They are right - I am too old and tired to fight their discrimination.

NEVER LET ANYONE DISCOURGE YOU / YOU ARE NOT TO OLD IF YOU CAN WALK, TALK AND WORK HARD; THEY ARE WRONG AND IT IS DISCRIMINATION

We have earned all those lines in our face. It shows how much we have learned and put so much of ourselves into that job. EEOC has found my company guilty of age discrimination.
